How To Concentrate In Online Classes?


Can’t stay concentrate when listening to the video lecture or taking an online class?

There are some tips to stay focused during online classes.
Start the online class with a fresh mood
Find time for a bit of exercise, Take a bath, Don’t skip breakfast.
This will give you a positive energy boost & will keep you fresh entire day.
Do get organized

Keep your notes in an organized manner. This saves you time & you find notes and other materials quickly. Create shortcuts on your computer. This will help you access folders easily.

Find a comfortable area to study

Make sure you choose a comfortable place of study. To avoid eye strain that could cause headaches or drowsiness ensure there is enough light in the room. Don't select areas that are too comfortable (sofa, bed,  etc.) because you may fall asleep.

Avoid things which break your concentration

Switch off the cell phone and TV.  Set a status “unavailable” on your messenger.  Close all the browsers. Log out from all social networking websites. Don’t play any music that will distract you while attending the lecture.

Prepare a Schedule

Make a study schedule according to your comfort zone.  The time when your concentration ability is at its peak & you feel most active schedule your toughest work for that time.

Make a plan

List down the tasks you must do to accomplish for your course every day like – doing homework assignments, reading, tests, answering discussion boards, taking quizzes,  etc. Follow the plan strictly. Use physical tools like- books, papers, pens or printouts to reduce the monotony as Staring at the computer screen for hours makes your mind go numb.
